Your scripture was for "me" today. Thank you. I don't know how much more preserverance and strength building I can handle though. I've been a Christian almost all my life and seems the longer I am one, the more I have to endure. I was married for almost 20 years and found out my husband was seeing married men. He became abusive when I confronted him. I have been divorced 3 1/2 years now. I am trying to remain strong and steadfast in my faith for myself but moreso for my children. I love your site, I don't have alot of time in the morning to read my bible, my husband and I read together in the afternoon when I get home from work.

My husband is home all day and he really needs lome special prayers, he has had spasmodic torticollis for two years and four months no doctors sill do surgery and now it's time to put an infusion pump in his body. I pray that the lord will heal him he has several other problems health wise. We had to declare bankucptcy and we are not suer if we can save our home. You never know what is in store for you and the future is in Gods hands, if he had not got into this car accident we would not have sought God, he sure does work in mysterious ways.

I have been struggling with Leukemia and through the prayers of our church members and God's love for each of us, I can now say that I am on the road to recovery. It has been a very long trip, full of financial problems, health problems and hopelessness. Often I was angry with God. Why would He put me through this again. I now know why. Last Wednesday, January the 12th, 2000, I was at my lowest point. The pain was unbearable, my husband and I were unemployed and my mother had quadruple angioplastie done. I called out to God daily, gave Him all of my heart and soul, why was He forsaking me. I was angry, very angry. Why God, why can't you hear me? He DID hear me and bestowed upon us many blessings. On Thursday, the following day, I received a call from the hospital telling me my blood results. My white blood cell count is down 47% the nurse said. I now only need two more treatments! That same day, I went for a part time job interview fully expecting my health situation to be a barrier I had to climb again. When I arrived for the interview I wasn't nervous or anticipating any major selling of myself. I knew God was with me and He was. Even before the interview was over she said to me, "I don't know why, but I like your honesty and drive and you can start tomorrow. We will work around your treatments and when you feel you can work more hours, we will accomodate you". You have to understand where I will be working to know the miracle that has happened in my life. I have gone from being a successful network technician to being on the unemployment line, to being in the hospital for months on end and never knowing where our next meal ticket was coming from. We havd lived this way for one year. Now, I will be working for Social Services (Welfare office) helping those who are on assistance to gain new job skills and to help them gain the confidence to get out of the system and into the work force!!!!! How better to heal myself then to help others?! God could not have picked a more appropriate job for me. I love being around people from all walks of life, I have always helped people often at a great cost to my own safety, but, to be able to earn a living doing what I did naturally anyway, is trully a blessing. I want to shout it from the highest mountain, God really loves us. I will never again question what is hapenning in my life for I know it is His will. I still don't understand why that road He has us travel is such a tough one but I know that He will tell me that too. Perhaps I had to in order to trully understand the people I will now be helping.
