Kim says: Margot (my wife) was diagnosis with panceatic cancer Memorial Day weekend. We had three round of treatment and some results. Very good local Doctors couldn't remove the tumor but recommended us to Mayo. The Mayo Doctor we met was able to do the surgery and it has been successful. I counted 15 bona fide miracles during this period. Before and during Margot's surgery upwards of 500 people were praying for her (as evidenced by our website traffic). We know that sometimes the answer to prayer is "no" or something else. This time it was "yes". We don't know if we have a cure, but we have a pathway to our future and maybe a cure. If you are wondering about prayer, don't, it is startling how "interactive" it is. Take it day by day, pray, listen, and pray more. And say thanks. (P. S. Mayo is where God uses Doctors to work miracles.)

I feel that to categorize Christianity into black and white, meaning God=happiness and no God=despair, is a bit naive and untrue; I've also been a believer since I was young and have despaired even with a genuine belief of God in my life. I've found it best to recognize that to get to the ideal of God=happiness would mean an actual physical death of this life and an eternal spiritual life, for in this life, in our humanity, life will suck, with or without God.
