Michael Walls says: I am orginally from Bentonville, Arkansas. I was raised in a very Christian family and have tried to live my life as a Christian. I moved to Dallas, Texas for school and later was transferred to Pennsylvania with my job. I have undergone a series of set backs over the past seven years: my wife of 17 years left me after I was laid off by the employer, for whom I had worked for 24 years and 3 months. Being over 50 at the time, it took me over a year to find another job, which paid only 1/4 of what I had been making. Branded a loser who could not provide for his family, I found myself without home, wife, daily contact with my children, and an empty bank account. I looked on this as a test of my faith and I still believe that in God's wisdom, there are lessons I am intended to learn from this experience. My current employer transferred me to Richmond, Virginia to open a new office in June, 2004. I do volunteer work for one of the city's hospitals on weekends. I trust in Jesus and carry the daily cross our Lord asks of me. I was led to your website this morning. I am grateful for the words you offer and for the knowledge that there is support to be found on those days when loneliness weighs heavily. Thank you.

Harry Cummings says: I have a problem with people in the ministry saling gods word. God said, all belongs to him and in the beginning there was the word and god is the word. So how can people per say, translate god's word in to their own understanding and sale it by way of cassettes, CD's or books. I believe translated or not, it still god's word, because everthing belongs to the father. Jesus did not sale the father's word, he taught it and gave his life for our sins, and left the holy spirit behind to teach us the word. He did not ask for one red cent.

We were struggling even when I was employed because my husband refuses to be a good steward of money. So I have no idea what this will bring. Martin J. Finn says: I have had a difficult life, in that I have suffered at great lenghts with various health issues that have greatly impacted the quality of my life. Most of this started when I was fifteen, I am now thirty nine, and I'm just a shell of the person I used to be. I am not married, I have virtually no friends, and from a once outgoing individual I have now turned into a person who is withdrawn and isolated most of the time. I have turned to God many times in past 24 years, but have received little in the way of help, consequently my faith is not strong, but I keep coming back to the Lord and I am not really sure why? I am still searching for my life and my place in this world and I constantly search for answers to my multiple disabilities. At this particular point in time, I have turned my entire life over to God (again), so I am taking another shot at testing my faith and looking for love. It's really all I have left, I hope my eyes are finally opened wide this time for good.

Rhonda Bierer says: I am trying to get back to where I use to be with the Lord. I am attempting to go to Bible studies and last nite I went to church for the first time in a year. I got the message that I CAN DO BETTER! So obviously he has equipped me to be able to do so. Right now I am greiving the loss of my pet cat Shiloh which I have had for 19 yrs. I am still very heart broken and miss her tremendously. I have been saved for 14 yrs officially. But had made a commitment to the Lord when I was 12. I just never served Him till I was 30. I was active in my church for 13 yrs. and fell away after my pastor left the church. I started drinking again and taking medication for anti-anxiety, which I suffer from in a severe capacity. I believe in deliverance because he has already done it once for me. Am I ready to be delivered again or do I want to stay in my joyless state I now find myself in? Sometimes I don't know if I can possiblly recover from my fall from grace? It was a very long fall. I was held in high esteem in my church and I think that I am actually so ashamed of myself that I can't possible get back to where I once was. Shame is killing me now and I am truly sorry for making bad choices. I knew better and still did the things that were contray to the Lords will for my life. My husband has never left me or beat me up over it emotionally. But I have disappointed him greatly too. I feel like a mess. I still feel some sense of worth, just not for a noble purpose. I am just a clay pot. I NEVER WANTED TO EVER BE A CLAY POT. JUST A COMMON REPLACABLE ITEM. I use to read that and say that would be an awful way to live. Now I feel just like that.
