When you are trying to buy a health insurance policy, you’ll obviously need to know what the various plan benefits will provide you and what the premium cost will be. How would you find out what those monthly premium costs and policy benefits are?
You could go to the Yellow Pages and start calling the health insurance agents near you, but you probably won’t do that. Then you’ll hit the “SUBMIT” button and wait for the next screen. And one way or another, that next screen may surprise you.
You might get a screen saying “Thank you for your request. We will have an agent (or even up to eight agents!) contact you shortly,” even though you thought you were going to be presented with a screen with monthly rates. Or you might get a screen with literally hundreds and hundreds of different rates and options that will completely confuse you.
