Once your total family medical expenditures reach $2,500, Golden Rule will then begin to pay 100% of your family’s eligible medical bills. You won’t have to pay anything for medical expenses such as prescriptions, doctor visits, hospitalizations, xrays or lab tests for the remainder of the policy year. Golden Rule also offers co-pay plans – the type of health insurance plan that allows you to see doctors and get prescriptions for a small co-pay without having to meet your deductible first. This is the type of health insurance plan that is currently the most common here in Arizona. If you have young children, you’ll probably be happiest with this type of health insurance plan.
